Friendship
by Henry David Thoreau, 1903
This book measures 11 3/8" x 8 1/8" and has 36 pages plus colophon. The text body is set in Cheltenham and is printed on Roycroft handmade paper. This book was bound in paper over boards with a suede spine. According to McKenna, the 1903 Roycroft catalog and the 1905/06 Roycroft catalog a few tall copies were printed. The total print run is unknown but is believed to be fairly limited. The 1903 catalog lists this "tall copy" at $5.00
